The Jacksonville Jaguars released veteran safety Darnell Savage on Tuesday.

He started all 13 games he played in 2024 and totaled 51 tackles, one interception and six passes defended.

The Green Bay Packers selected Savage with the 21st overall pick of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Maryland. He made the NFL All-Rookie Team that season.

Savage has 354 career tackles, one sack, 10 interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), 38 passes defended, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 87 regular-season games (82 starts) for the Packers (2019-23) and Jaguars.
