Mike Spofford

GREEN BAY The NFL announced the 2025 compensatory draft picks, and the Packers were awarded one in the seventh round.

That selection is pick No. 250 overall, giving the Packers eight total choices heading into the 2025 NFL Draft, which is being held in Green Bay.

The compensatory formula gave the Packers a seventh-rounder essentially for the departure of offensive tackle Yosh Nijman in free agency last year, after the signings of running backJosh Jacobsand safetyXavier McKinneywere offset by the losses of guard Jon Runyan and safety Darnell Savage.

Since the compensatory system was established in 1994, the Packers have received the third-most selections now with 53, behind only Baltimore (60) and Dallas (58).

Green Bay's eight selections in the upcoming draft are comprised as follows: The Packers have their original selection in each of the first six rounds and then two picks in the seventh round one from Pittsburgh from the Preston Smith trade, and the one compensatory selection. Green Bay's original seventh-rounder was traded to Tennessee for QBMalik Willis.

Round 1, No. 23

Round 2, No. 54

Round 3, No. 87

Round 4, No. 124

Round 5, No. 159

Round 6, No. 198

Round 7, No. 237 (from PIT)

Round 7, No. 250 (compensatory)
