Game will be Saturday, Jan. 16, at 3:35 p.m. CT at Lambeau Field Mike Spofford

GREEN BAY - The Packers' opponent for the NFC Divisional playoff next weekend has finally been determined: it's the LA Rams.

Green Bay will host the game at Lambeau Field on Saturday, Jan. 16, at 3:35 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on FOX.

When the No. 7 seed Bears lost late Sunday afternoon to the No. 2 Saints, 21-9, it finalized the Rams as the top-seeded Packers' next opponent. No. 6 LA is the lowest remaining seed in the NFC playoff field.

The Rams won on the road at Seattle on Saturday, knocking off the No. 3 seed Seahawks, 30-20, to advance.

The other NFC Divisional matchup will send No. 5 Tampa Bay to New Orleans for the NFC South rivals' third meeting this season. The Saints won the first two matchups.

The Packers and Rams have two previous postseason meetings in their history, splitting them.

Green Bay beat LA in the 1967 Western Conference Championship, 28-7, at Milwaukee County Stadium. When the Rams were in St. Louis, they hosted the Packers in the 2001 NFC Divisional round and beat Green Bay, 45-17.

The two teams last met in the regular season in 2018 at the LA Memorial Coliseum in a game the Rams won, 29-27.

Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur was the Rams' offensive coordinator under current LA coach Sean McVay in 2017, two years before LaFleur came to Green Bay.
